This book is, in the first 64 chapters, the autobiography of my great-aunt, Anna Frances Willis, born Anna Frances Boulton, the younger sister of my grandfather John Graham Boulton. Chapters 65 to 75 were written by her children.

I am indebted to my cousin, Hope Hambly of Toronto, for not only encouragement, but for the footnotes contained in each Chapter, and for a copy of the book which I have scanned for this presentation.
